Background and Expertise
Mr. Altman has been engaged in the practice of law since 1989. He has represented companies of all sizes in a wide array of legal matters including commercial transactions, labor and employment matters, joint venture agreements and regulatory compliance.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Altman worked for several well-established law firms in New York including Plunkett & Jaffe and Anderson, Banks, Curran & Donoghue.
Pro Bono Practice
Mr. Altman has been active in organizations offering no-cost legal services for not-for-profit community organizations and underprivileged individuals. He has been recognized by The Pro Bono Partnership of New York, which has awarded him its Outstanding Pro Bono Lawyer honor.
Attorney CLE Instruction
Mr. Altman has taught courses for attorneys on corporations at the Pace University Center for Continuing Legal Education and has conducted seminars in the field of employment law for attorneys and HR professionals.
